Marketing and Development Assistant

May 2019 - August 2019

Branding Identity

Domenik began working at JA British Columbia shortly after JA celebrated 100 years of operation across the globe. Part of this celebration included refreshed brand marks and identity for local charters like JABC to use.

Domenik was responsible for carrying this identity across several large-format public communications. These were also used while developing new identities and assets for sub-brands including the Celebrate JA! event.

Domenik’s brand identity skills were also used in Business Laureates of British Columbia projects and for corporate sponsorship pitch purposes.

Business Laureates of British Columbia

The Business Laureates of British Columbia Hall of Fame marked its 15th anniversary in 2020. For this major celebration, Domenik contributed to research efforts and developed several assets.

Domenik did thorough research on potential posthumous laureates, examining their contribution to business development in British Columbia. Not only did this further Domenik’s skills in finding and distilling information, but it furthered presentation skills on multiple fronts.

Domenik was also tasked with developing a new brand identity to celebrate this anniversary year. Through a lengthy ideation process, a new logo was developed alongside imagery. Both of these elements would be immediately used in a newspaper advertisement and later in other materials.

Event Management

In the four months Domenik was at JA British Columbia, he participated in operating three large scale events. This allowed Domenik to practice time management and rapid problem solving. These efforts ensured each event ran efficiently and the guests had a positive experience.
