Project Management

A website is the best modern-day extension of any brand or business. Management of large-scale web design and development projects was a key aspect of Domenik’s role. With clients ranging from local businesses to government organizations, Domenik is familiar with the complexities associated with team coordination and client communication. As a member of the SplitMango team, Domenik delivered unique projects that surpassed client expectations. Key projects included a web app for Megafood Canada, and new websites for the Canadian Massage Therapist Association, Dovre Speciality Foods, and Duklas Cornerstone Consulting.

Business Management

Business management is key for any organization, including small agencies. Building from his previous co-op position at SplitMango, Domenik’s position increased his responsibilities in marketing, specifically with new client leads and proposal creation. Additionally, Domenik was responsible for policy development, and assisted in invoicing and operations management. This translated into improved initial contact with clients, full compliance with governing bodies, and increased revenue generation.

Social Media

Going into their 11th year of operation, SplitMango decided it was time to refresh their corporate look through a new portfolio website. After viewing their drafted new site, Domenik developed several social media post templates that would match this refreshed look.

Following development, these templates were put to use across SplitMango’s social media channels through a campaign called “Built by SplitMango”. This campaign highlights SplitMango’s amazing clients. Combined with eye catching visuals and copy, these posts have been shared by the highlighted clients which ultimately builds brand recognition.

Pitching

Gaining new clients is a goal. Building long-term relationships is a strategic focus. Through using carefully procured skills from the classroom, Domenik was able to introduce new pitching practices to help further this strategic focus that complemented established client onboarding strategies. Additionally, through careful proofreading and editing, Domenik was able to clarify SpitMango’s RFPs and Quote Requests to create a documents that are easily understood by all organizational stakeholders.

Target Market Development

A clear target market is important for any business. Domenik conducted a target market analysis by using verified statistics and research from reputable sources. This was completed in conjunction with a competitive matrix of SplitMango’s most relevant competitors. This ultimately resulted in a new target market for SplitMango, further clarified by a distinct competitive positioning.
